At Tuzi, our mission is to make you fall in love with your jewelry pieces. We do it by creating unique designs that draw on Asian art and cultural heritage—because the best jewelry pieces tell a story, and we want to help you tell yours.
Our Story
Tuzi was founded by a husband and wife team. We're both Chinese-American, and for our wedding, we wanted to wear jewelry pieces that would honor our family heritage. When we couldn't find a brand that fit what we were looking for, the idea for Tuzi was born.
The Brand
The name 'tuzi' comes from the Chinese word for 'rabbit.' We're named after the mythological jade rabbit that lives on the moon, working a mortar and pestle. Depending who you ask, the jade rabbit is either making mooncakes, rice cakes, or the elixir of eternal life.
Our Commitment
As we were setting up for the launch of Tuzi, we wanted to make sure that the brand reflected not only our style, but our values. That's why we've taken care to implement planet-friendly practices from day one.
